I had been thinking of swapping out the front indicators as the orange tinge in the headlight looks terrible IMO. I considered the silver but since my car is blue and the dials are purple/blue I thought that the osram diadem bulbs may suit the car a little better. So after turning the air blue and my arm black and blue trying to fit the OSF bulb I now have the effect I was looking for.

It shines blue and purple but has a very clear bright orange light when flashing.

Interesting. Our Vito is also Jasper Blue, but I have the M-B chrome bulbs all round (and in my SL, and the C Class!). I agree the standard orange bulbs look horrible.

The chrome bulbs definitely suit silver cars better - I like the blue/purple tinge on a blue car but not sure it would suit any other colour but I could be wrong.

Regardless of the hassle, the clean look is well worth it. I have always changed the orange bulbs on my cars. I was shocked to see my 2014 BMW 3 series came with orange front bulbs so I swapped them for the Osram Diadem Chrome bulbs which are whiter and don't have the bluish tinge. Well worth the money.

On a 1980s SL with orange lenses then I would leave the lights as is because that is a classic look of the whole light unit, but Orange bulbs in a silver housing? No.

Love the new look - so much better!!! Great idea!
