Didn't know which forum to put this question in, so sorry if Iv'e got it wrong. Anyway, the drivers side window on my '98 R129 SL500 refuses to drop that little bit when you open the door, and when you lower the window for any reason, it won't go all the way up. It nearly gets there, then starts to stutter in one spot with an awefull clonking sound all the time you've got your finger on the button! It's driving me nuts 'cos I have to wiggle the glass up that last 5mm when I get out of the car, but then the glass doesn't fit into the rubber grove at the top on the roof, it just sits tight on top of it. I figure I'll have to get the interior door trim off and I have a set of those American plastic trim getter offers, but I've no clue how the hell the trim comes off in the first place?
