Hold on. You posted a price list. This isn't what's actually installed on your car?

The bumper looks very similar but just a lot cleaner to me. Like I said will take a lot more pictures which are of better quality on Friday!

The K8 engine package is nice, but easily achievable these days for a lot less money.

My SL55 originally, is more Brabus than yours I am afraid from those pictures and dare I say in better condition....

Get lots of pictures up and I can tell you much more about it. Considering I have just brought the majority of it brand new last year.

It is a genuine factory Brabus SL55 K8. Brabus tuned 550 bhp. Brabus wheels and chassis. Brabus carbon fibre interior. 36k genuine miles. Cost new £128k so 36k extras.. 190 miles per hour. 0-60 4.2 seconds.

Had new spark plugs and alternator recently. Keyless go locking doesn't work. Centre console box lid broken. Cost for those is 370 each for door handle and 700 for centre box. So needs around £1400 spent on it. Obviously we will take into account when selling.

OR you could spend the £1400 and and sell it as not needing anything done.

Some buyers don't have the time etc to get it done so might see it as an inconvenience and potentially put them off.

Would have thought it would top 200mph?/quicker acceleration. Maybe because it hasn't got the Brabus aero/bodykit?

Mine stock will do 186mph derestricted, 0-62 4.3 (according to Car&driver test).

Fix the issues, it will sell far quicker.

Seriously, you want top dollar, it needs to be top condition

If you have been offered £23k you should take it and don't look back.

Morning all - pictures currently being uploaded.

We don't have the time to replace the parts ourselves and would rather knock off say 2k than spend the 1400 replacing them.

Received this PM off another owner on this forum;
'I am not sure what the value of an SL55 K8 is worth today. I purchased mine in 2008 for a little under £60,000. Its a 2003. It had 22'000 miles on it when I bought it. Now it has 45'000 miles. Late last year I saw a 2003 model for sale on Piston Heads for £45,000. Apparently only 6 RHD models were imported into the UK. I met an Australian guy who owned a silver one; he loved it so much he had it shipped down under! So I guess there's only 5 left in the UK now (presuming none have been written off!). Very rare cars. Only a handful of enthusiasts know about these cars. I'd never sell mine. Its a keeper! Lol'

I copied that from a text off the owner. I imagine he just quoted whoever sold it to him as he would never have got near that speed!

At a guess I would agree it should top 200mph , but that's not many places you could try that!

So why haven't you accepted the £23k offer?

There's a saying in the trade the first offer is usually the best offer, this is also from experience

That would be minus the 2k. + that offer wasn't offered when the faults were disclosed. So would more likely be 21 now.

I agree, Im no expert but shouldnt it have at least a Brabus steering wheel?
