SL55 - Brakes powder coated and BBS wheels on

Hi all,

Had a few requests for pics of these wheels so thought you all might like to see a few pics of the SL55 wearing her new boots.

Done a lot to her in a year, full write up coming soon, but in summary:

Respray
New front bumper
SL63 rear bumper
Carbon door handles, fins.
Carbon lip spoiler
Carbon effect diffuser
Carbon boot spoiler
Bonnet and side grilles reconditioned
Brakes rebuilt and powder coated yellow - new discs, pads, pins, springs and braided hoses.
BBS CH-R 19" alloy wheels - carbon centre caps
Pulley
Remap from DMS
TCU tune
Custom exhaust

The front grille was purchased from the Ebay seller jakuo. I messaged him about quality and fitment and he assured me it was spot on and indeed it was. Supplied with OEM Mercedes star (in the Mercedes box) and fitted absolutely perfectly.

For the calipers I used Thomas at Pro Calipers (Main page - Pro-calipers.co.uk), took about a week in total from sending them to getting them back, but had new seals, dust caps fitted as well so they had a full rebuild too.

His communication is excellent too, very impressed.The finish is fantastic.
