SL55 Engine Cover

Anyone got the front engine cover for an 06 SL55 they would be willing to part with?

Specifically the badge... Mine fell to pieces, I'm reluctant to donate £110 + VAT to MB and it bugs me every time I open the bonnet!!

mine went 'missing' when it went to local indie... used a spare alloy wheel cap and does the job after trimming down the height so doesn't catch on belt underneath... was a guy on ebay selling the whole trim for around £30 +post..

Thanks both... found a guy in Stockport who has an SL he was breaking so he put it in the post.. £35.... Well worth it to stop my grimace when I open the bonnet!!

Does the wheel cap hold up to the heat ok??
