SL55 instrument cowl

My SL55 didn't come with the nice alcantara trimmed instrument cluster surround found on a lot of them. Mine is just bare plastic.

I've got hold of the part required and am now wondering how to swap it over.
Has anyone done this? it looks like it might be simple but I don't want to wreck things to find out.

Push outwards at the bottom inside the cluster area using your thumbs whilst pulling forward (there's enough grip from your thumbs to pull it forward)

The cover is clipped onto the cluster at the bottom outside edges of the cluster, so you are pushing the cover outward away from the cluster
