Sl55 performance exhaust

Guys decided to liven up the SL and I'm after thoughts on a (louder) performance exhaust. I loved the DB9 noise and the SL is quite muted in comparison. I'm not the "chop a silencer off" type it would be a proper ex from a known make fitted professionally - any have any suggestions please.

As above, go custom. I've done it twice now on two very different cars and it is the best way to get the looks and sound you want.

Good choice but not cheap.

An exhaust makes all the difference.

My widebody has a really loud system, it totally changes the car, throttle down, it feels like you are twoing open the gates to hell... its furious.
My other SEC with same engine has a similar custom, but much quieter exhaust, and that is a totally difference driving experience altogether, much more refined and relaxed.

Go custom, but ask them to make it reversible and keep the old exhaust in case the next owner wants to revert it back.
Knowing your history, im sure it will be for sale at some point..

Hi my m8 has just had his cl500 done with amg type tail pipes all in stainless £350 inc vat by MIJ 01922 645646 it looks and sounds fab they changed the two rear boxes and pipes
