thanks for the reply, so the actual original grill would have been the 4 slat then?
is the single slat from the SL65?
i am assuming its a straight forward replacement to get to original but then I start thinking it may have been replaced due to accident maybe?
so have purchased a standard SL55, could anyone link me a data card site i can use?
tried the previous link but its all in russian at the moment
Hi AlxYes, the last 6 digits would be specific to your vehicle.
Phil I think that you will find that the 030 Performance Package is the F1.
Whilst a lot of people (me included) call our cars a F1 neither Mercedes or AMG called it that in their marketing. With regards to real F1 safety cars I believe there are two in the world, one is in the Mercedes museum and the other was for sale in Japan last year.
The numbers of F1 (030 Performance Package) cars I have often seen quoted as 20 however based on my own experience looking to buy one I think there may be a few more than that although there does not seem to be any definitive data. Perhaps we should start our own mini club/register!
On the subject of brake discs I have only been able to find genuine Mercedes items.
Hi Alx
Sorry to be a pain again but my local garage has just taken in a mint SL55 F1 & I wondered if you could check out the data card for me as its nicer than mine & I might upgrade, The chassis no is WDB2304742F070673.Thanks in anticipation Best Phil
