SL55 (R230 model) Rear number plate light lenses

Need two please - anyone? R230 model - rear number plate light lenses that tuck up under the boot lid and illuminate the plate.

or you could just buy the complete LED units from Ebay, they come complete with lenses.

Trouble with these is they are way too bright for the rear of the car. They make the number plate look like a Las vegas advert!

And they are a massive PITA to fit. Have you removed your existing lenses and cleaned them up? Mine came up really well with a toothbrush and some fairy liquid.

Agree recently replaced myself for £17.00 something for the 2 original parts cheaper than ebay easy to self fit! Job done ;-)

I too bought two from a deal with Mercedes Newcastle off ebay £19.01 the part number you want is ma230-820-01-66 this does not include the bulbs.
