The SL has been up for sale for some time now, with an asking price of nearly double the estimate...

Indeed, here: SL60 AMG For Sale (1995) on Car And Classic UK [C636260]

There's obviously a reason it hasn't already sold at £24k+ (apart from being a long way away for most people)

I see from their website that the pretty Alfa made £18,150, the SL60 £13,420 (50% of what the 1998 one for sale at Charles Ironside went for at auction last Oct), the 500E £12,320. The 280 4.5 and 230SLs all seemed to be unsold.

Anyone on here buy anything?
