Sl60 electric fans do not come on !

I am changing the water temp sensor hope that does it

The cooling fans will not come on once engine heated up ! And ideas on fault finding ? Have changed fan switch , works when hard wired

u need to invest in code reader as your trying to solve problem blind mate or get in to indy merc specialist u have a special car fixing on shoestring does not happen

Are you sure they are engine cooling fans? and not A/C fans? Is the A/C system operating ok?

Is the car overheating? As mentioned the main cooling for the engine comes from the viscous fan coupling, not the electric fans...they are auxilliary / AC I believe.

mines silver and giving me headache lol

1. Check waterpump.
2. Check viscous fan coupling
3. Check thermostat.

Will be one of the above. As mentioned the electric fans are auxiliary to the main engine fan on the viscous coupling.
