yeah, was someone selling facelift one for 9.5k with 95k on the clock and couldnt get it.
It was on sale for ages, maybe 3 months and it looked mint.
Looking at that price its unbelievable how much they want for it.
People need to realise R129 are not classics yet and 12k for a dodgy one like that is a joke.
Just one question, when does a car become a classic? Is it when the company stops production of the last generation of that car or when they stop producing parts?

I think when i car becomes a classic is when you lose the sight of all the bad ones on the road and when the styling becomes unseen.
I mean SL from the 1980s the back end looked like a ford granada from the same era. square headlights etc. now people nothing on the road looks like a 1980s sl it looks cool and unique.
You see alot of cars from the 90s, banger peugots square straight line cars etc that have same square styling as the sl from 1990s. Once you have no more square styling cars they become cool as you only have the curvy cars from 2000s, then you have the space edge style cars that you are seeing now etc etc.
I mean when everyone has LED tailights and then you see a normal taillight it becomes different and admireable.
That is only my opinion btw.
Me personally, i think the styling of the 1990s SL is my favourite except the 1960s ones.
