SL63 leaves biker on country road!

I once came off at close to three figure speeds and the motorcycle punched a hole through a garden wall which I then followed through. Did I ever mention I had the luck of the devil?

Did something similar with my GT380 but into the side of a Transit van that pulled out of a side turning, bike went inside the van, I bounced off the side of the van, was woken up by the bus stop queue i went over the top of landing flat on my back.

Van and bike written off, I got up uninjured and took the train to work with leathers still on (change of clothes at work).

There's no sense to how the dice roll on the day for you, all you can do is lower the chance of an accident by giving other road users the same chance by driving and riding within the limitations of your surroundings.

:)

ooh a two stroke triple - I can remember how they sound as if its yesterday.

I used to lust after a KH500 back in the days.

They are still very much with us. In outboard marines, snowmobiles and jet-skis. They'll never die!
They are a lot more civilised now though. There's an 800cc twin that makes 164hp yet idles serenely. And still small and light enough to walk around with all day under your arm without troubling you. How many 164hp motors can you say that for?

I can't even say that about my laptop, never mind an engine.

So, has anybody put all this to a real world test themselves and how did it go...?
