Oh well, just come back to my car to find all 4 tyres slashed

I only replaced all 4 tyres 10 days ago as well...not even 100 miles on the set...grrr!

I'm not currently in my local area, so currently waiting for Mercedes to recover the car and bring my baby home. I called the police so I could get a crime number for insurance (if needed), they think it's random as no other reports.

I've checked the paintwork and thankfully no damage.

More annoyingly, this car gets handed back to Mercedes in 3 weeks time, so I'm replacing tyres, twice, for someone else's benefit

Sadly I did not take the option on this car, but it's food for thought for the next one as the dealer did mention it only a few weeks back.

Gutted for you OP, I know how I felt when I got a Stanley blade stuck in a tyre I'd only just bought let alone four.

As said, go for some part worn tyres if the car is being returned!

Been on the Ashley Madison site too often, maybe?

Can you think of anyone you have pi*sed off lately?

Won't help of course, but at least you know who to laugh at when they finally get theirs.....
