Slk 2010 200 komp gearbox oil

Hi there please could somebody run through the steps of checking the gearbox oil on a slk 200,

there is a black bung in the top of the tube but I'm not 100% sure how to get it out

Pop the tab out and lift the cap off.

IIRC one needs STAR/XENTRY to measure the ATF level.
