i will be as brief as possible.car starts up on all 4,add a few revs and it starts to misfire and stays missing.starts up on 4 every time.if i take off the temp sender lead before starting it does not misfire!but the cooling fans cut in. Work done:-ecu checked and repaired. air flow meter renewed. new coil packs. new temp sender. wiring checked. head off stripped and checked for sticking valves etc. no faults come up on the diagnostics. i would appreciate any suggestions, thanks Dave.

Get the codes read from your car. If the missfire is on one cylinder change the coil packs over i.e swap them around. Read the codes, if the missfire is now on another cylinder and as you say, packs have been chjanged try the coil pack extensions. Happened to Shudes car some time ago, was rather a frustrating task tracking it down. If that does not work, then on the rear manifold support there are two wires that join together. Make sure that the two wires are actually joined securley.
