Anyone know if it's possible to tweak the rooof so it closes a bit quicker or even if it's possible? :dk:

Got caught a couple of times with the roof down and hit by a shower or two, (thought I might miss them  ) :)

Whilst it may not make the actual time to close any quicker, the only thing I can think of is one of those aftermarket modules which allow you to open/close up to 30 mph.

It may save you time as you wouldn't need to stop completely before beginning the close sequencem, and as such reduce total time required.

Drawback is that the wind resitance of the roof would not be good for the mechanism.

I had one of these fitted to my old 230, which worked quite well.

Well that's to the point, (though I figured as much ;)) But as the saying goes, if you don't ask...

Yeah good point, I'm tinkering with the idea. I did ask if anyone had had one fitted a few weeks ago and if they were pleased with it.

Funnily enough I've just replied to BD regarding this, I was thinking of having one fitted, not only to the 32, but also the CLK...(Some more research me thinks). Were you able to operate the roof move? And I'm guessing close the roof from outside the car as well, all from the ignition Key?
