Hi I have got a SLK 350 2004 model. The problem I have got is its not charging the battery at all. I have not got the alternator warning light on the dash board. I have to just install a brand new battery and it’s still not charging. I have notes the hazard warning light come on by them self when the car is park and lockup. Could this be down to a faulty alternator?
Any one know where I could get a new one from don’t really want to go back to Mercedes the rob dogs want £500 +vat just for the alternator.
