Hi guys,
I am new to the forum and am looking for some advice.
I own a SLK 230 ('97 model) and have a problem with one of the flaps which operates when putting the roof down. It appears that one of the cables has snapped which means that when I put the roof down the left flap doesn't move in and out as it should. I can still get the roof to fold away but I have to manually fold the flap with one hand while the other hand is on the red button - which is a bit of a nuisance. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and whether the cable can be mended without having to take it to a mechanic. If anyone knows what parts to buy and how this can be done I would be grateful.
Cheers, Carl
