I really need some advice on this I recently purchased a lovely used SLK 200 07 reg from the dealers its been less than a month and I have had some problems with it cutting off in the middle of the road in the lower gears 1 and 2. There is complete loss of power and the power steering goes. This as you can imagine scares me senseless and I have for the second time sent the car back to the dealers to have it checked. It is obviously an intermittent fault since the first time they had it they said they readjusted the sensors and that it was fine. My question is should I just simply cut my losses and return the car or should I persevere and see if it can be fixed at the risk of this happening again at some later date.
