SLK R170 Roof cylinder replacement

Hello - I now have an SLK R170 (230Komp) - nice thing for summer. Pee's oil out of the roof latch cylinder - are they easy to change to should I not get involved (I have a replacement )

I believe they are easy to change. Check out the slkworld.com forum, lots of Americans on there have done it.
