Am having the black trim above my windscreen repainted as it started to flake revealing the metal underneath.

Has anyone else had this issue ?

Am having it sprayed along with some other bits, not sure if respraying will cure this problem

    Thanks

I have not seen that before,so the strip of metal in your case black that is part of the top of the windscreen surround is peeling off, is it right down to the metal or base coat.

Yep, it started flaking then basically underneath the black top layer is metal underneath. It looks metal anyway could be plastic, its the trim about 1cm in.width. My sprayer seems to think its been sprayed before.

    Bump,
I noticed my trim is also beginning to peel, as I believe these are relatively inexpensive, I'd like to replace it myself but does anyone know how they are removed?
