SLK review in Autocar

There's a great review of the new SLK in this weeks' Autocar. Great pictures, great words, great car Seems likely that this is a return to traditionaly MB quality, lets' hope so.

Wonder if I should trade the wife, kids and W203 in for one?

I wouldn't bank on it. The one thing that you can be sure of, in these days of marginal profits for car manufacturers, is that it'll be cheaper to build than the last SLK. Remember that the SLK is based on the old C-class, which is generally reckoned to have been better engineered than the new C-class. The new SLK is based on the new C-class, so while it might be a better drivers' car, the quality is going to take a dive.
