SLK Staggered Rims on W201 ??

Does anybody know whether SLK Rims (7x16 ET37 Front / 8x16 ET30 Rear) will fit on a W201 :-


(190 - 1991, 2.0)


My guess is not . . . but does anybody know for sure ?

If you roll the rear arches, yes...

I run 8.5Jx17 ET34 on the back of my W201

And my sisters W201 does actually have 7.5Jx16 all round ET30 however...

In fact, thinking about it, mine only just clipped, you may just get away without rolling...

Sounds good then. Are your sister's arches rolled ?

Would different tyres work better ? They currently have 225/50/16 on the rears . . what tyres are on your sister's ?

Yep, it's got a M104 3.2 24valve engine fitted
I imagine it's good fun

Not rolled, will rub with 5 people in and had a set of wheels in the boot.
With an 8J wheel, you really need 225...
She has 215/55/16's

Hehe, i know someone with a C36 engine in a stripped out 190...not a standard C36 engine however, has a turbo and supercharger and has oversized pistons, high lift cam and various other things.

Pretty mental in a 190...

Hhhmm, would be relatively easy to put a M104 in mine, starting from a M103, wud be relatively simple...
