SLK Water problem

I have noticed that when I open the boot on my SLK I get a lot of water pouring into the boot from the lock area of the boot lid. I can not see any drain holes in this area and wondered if I am missing something obvious or is this just a problem with this model?

I think it must be common. Is your central locking working ok?It's worth getting the pump out and having a look to see if it's wet underneath it. My pump is goosed and ive never found one in a year at a sensible price.
