Hi all,

I am looking to buy a 320 SLK, upto £25,000.

My question is, should I look at an older 32 AMG or a newer 320?

Also any information regarding both would be appreciated (i.e. specs, extras to look for and so on).

Thanks in advance

Billy

personally I'd stick for the 320. The 32 is nice but a tad skittish for our roads for everyday use anyway. The pull on it is amazing but most of the time it's going to be performing well under power and it won't like it.

I took one out and the back end was very very lively!! But if you have access to the type of roads where you can use it to it's potential then go for it. Expect insurance to be much higher.

Congrat's on getting your 320 - looks nice from the pic's in the gallery.

Any additions to the standard 320 soec?

Thanks Pammy, at least I know the attachments can be viewed by other people now. Based on your comments about the AMG, I decided against it and went for a better spec'd 320.

The car has only done 37000 miles (400 of which were racked up on the first day driving home from Bournemouth to Scotland), it has xenon's (again as per your comments on another post "aliens" are working), auto-dimming mirrors, an Alpine head-unit and ipod interface added after I bought the car and a GSM alarm/tracker for insurance purposes.

The car has the usual stonechips on the front that you would expect with the age of the car and the alloys have a few minor marks (good excuse to buy a set of the twin 5 spoke AMG alloys). Other than that, the car is immaculate and I am very pleased with my purchase. :)

Sounds brilliant - wish I had an autodimming RVM - they're fabby :(

Enjoy :D
