SLK230 - around 1999/2000

Was there a major update to the model about 1999/2000
Obviously the same body.......but did a few things change

Underbonnet layout changed- the MAF was relocated.

new wing mirrors with indicators, new body styling, and headlamp internals changed...

rear lights style changed slightly, and interior, the quality increased as did the dash finish,

subtle stuff, but they changed none the less

Colour co-ordinated sills, new body kit, updated front spoiler, moved the boot lock next to the boot handle so no longer visible, new wheels style option, but nothing profound from memory that I can think of. Otherwise layout and interior remain the same. Obviously some cars were spec'd differently from standard such as heated leather seats, or heated electric leather seats, CD multi-change, but that was all covered in the options list at point of purchase. That said these updates may have happened in 2000-2001 rather than 1999-2000.
