slk300 dashboard layout

I've just bought a Slk 300 2010 and absolutely love it never had a Mercedes before and what can i say, what a fantastic car! But on the display there is 2 screens the top one shows the menu for the computer and other things which I've now figured out the bottom one shows which gear you're in but it also displays the speed in kmh I've read in the book that it always shows kmh but is there a way of changing it to display something else? I'm not worried about it showing mph just anything else.

Yeah that's wot I thought but is there away of not having the kph on the screen. Just having the gear ur in on the display

Don't think so unless it can be done with Star at your local indie

Cars for the UK market were unique in having km/h displayed constantly in the lower screen. Apparently due to MB's misinterpretation of the UK rules!

However, it can be changed to display outside temperature instead by having it altered by STAR.

The previous owner of my SLK must have done this at some point to my SLK350.
