SLK55 AMG MY05 COMMAND - how do i fit an ipod ?

Hi Guys,

As title says i have just bought the above and it doesnt have an Ipod connection, this is a must for me .

What options do i have please.
would love to control it from the head unit.
The COMMAND system is a single cd unit and it has had the Speaker upgrade (Harmon Kardon).

Have a look in the glove box for a aux connector. This is usually on the passenger door side of the glove box and may have a blanking plate on it. If you have one then you just need a 3.5mm Jack lead.

Failing that you need Alfie at Command On Line

Hi,

On the SLK you need to make connections to the CAN bus connections on the Audio gateway (so more complex / dissasembling than others but not as bad as E/CLS where the audio gateway is on the boot) and if your car has no Phone, you need Star Diagnosis to configure the instrument cluster and steering wheel controls.
