slk55 roof

I am just in the process of buying a 05 slk55 amg, the roof is a bit creaky on, is this a normal for the age and if so can it easily be corrected, any advice on how would be appreciated apart from taking it to Mercedes.

Firstly, welcome. Now the bad news:

I've got a 56 plate SLK55 and it's got more squeaks and rattles than I care to mention. For what is supposed to be a premium brand, I'm not impressed. It's only done 31K too..

There is a used car article in this month's edition of EVO. The owner on there wrote that he lubricates the seals now and then to avoid the squeak. But the rattle? that doesn't bode well
