Hi all

I have very slow throttle resonce from my W202 C220.

My day to day honda feels better to drive because its easy on the foot. Surely a merc should be the same?

The throttle cables tend to go stiff, undo one end and lubricate the inner cable with some PTFE or Silicon lubricant

Or do you mean not heavy but needs a lot of welly to get it going?
Adaption is the problem. Fit a Sprintbooster maybe?
or readapt the computer?

MERCEDES have always had a sort of "deadband " throttle pedal. It was present on the older models and I would guess may still be the "feel" designed into the throttle pedal of todays models. Most owners adapt and learn to "push thro" the dead band to get to the active throttle range. After a while of this returning to a normal " sensitive " throttle pedal can be quite a contrast.
