SLS AMG Black Series Spotted for the 1st Time
(And a pair of ML63 AMGs in the background)
What makes me laugh is this ludicrous 'camouflaging' that they do.
They would be as well just de-badging it, no-one would hardly tell...
But then they wouldnt need to take fancy press shots & I wouldnt have a Press Release thread to make would I?
Ha ha, yeah, sorry....
Is that the new ML in the background of the first few pics?
The new ML is already out, those are the prototype ML55/65 AMGs and if you look carefully there is a prototype SL there also.
Oh.. my bad
A beast in the making !
Interesting roll cage...
How much BHP?
Killer... this SLS is a killer!!! how many Hertz power has this beast got then?
So is the aluminium body structure quite different from the standard one?
I think they would only put in a roll cage if the vehicle structure was pre-production.
Carbon fibre maybe?
I hope it comes with the wheels that are on the rear all round. Obviously in silver though
hmm, from the rear, looks like big mud flaps.. ohwell
Even more expensive metal/carbon fibre to litter the showrooms of MB dealers up and down the UK - That's after they have moved all the existing unsold SLS models out of course! Lots of oversize Americans will love em.
Only of they can still negotiate burger drive throughs
According to AutoBild, the supercar will feature a 6.3-liter (6,208cc) V8 engine with approximately 650 PS (478 kW / 641 hp). If this figure pans out, the SLS could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 322 km/h (200 mph).
The publication also says there will be coupe and convertible variants and pricing will start at roughly €260,000 ($338,310 / £218,480).
I like it. Would never buy one of course.
