According to AutoBild, the supercar will feature a 6.3-liter (6,208cc) V8 engine with approximately 650 PS (478 kW / 641 hp). If this figure pans out, the SLS could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 322 km/h (200 mph).
The publication also says there will be coupe and convertible variants and pricing will start at roughly €260,000 ($338,310 / £218,480).

for that sort of money i'd like something a bit quicker.

for that sort of money i'd like something a bit quicker.

Exactly what I was thinking. The C63 black is around half the cost but within a few 10ths of the times quoted for this SLS black 0-60 and is the 20 odd mph difference in top speed really worth anything other than pub bragging rights at near 200mph?

Ive just re-read this and realised that I write some bull**** at times, I'd have an SLS, in any form, in a heartbeat :bannana:. The SLS is a 100% future classic and without doubt would, if available in my younger days, be replacing the Porsche, in Martini colours, and maybe even the Ford GT40 as bedroom wall art.
