I don't think you see anything other than one button, there's no map display.

I didn't like the idea of no map or having to call up everytime I wanted to set a jouney, but it does look interesting.
 
Would the command unit sit in any car (assuming you had the space in centre console for it)?

ie - if I took out my stero and removed the ash tray would it fit?

One of the members of this forum has comand in a w201! :)

Unfortunately the w124 dash is quite narrow below the headunit, I don't think it would fit without some major modifications.
