Hi all,

Just got a invite from a friend to sign up to sms.ac (http://www.sms.ac). First impressions I'm thinking "What's the catch". I've found a few sites on the web giving it a slagging but then i'm sure i could find slaggings on the web for any company.

has anybody used sms.ac? what's your verdict? go for it or avoid like the plague?

cheers! :)

YOU AGREE THAT BY REGISTERING FOR THE SMS.AC SERVICE, SMS.AC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEND UP TO ONE (1) MOBILE ADVERTISEMENT PER DAY TO YOUR MOBILE DEVICE. YOU MAY OPT-OUT OF RECEIVING SUCH MOBILE ADVERTISEMENTS, BUT IN THAT CASE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL OFFERS FROM SMS.AC, SUCH AS FREE MESSAGES. SMS.AC WILL NOT SELL, RENT OR OTHERWISE DISCLOSE YOUR MOBILE NUMBER TO ANY THIRD PARTY, EXCEPT TO A BUSINESS PARTNER WHO MAY PROVIDE SERVICES NECESSARY TO SEND YOU SUCH MOBILE ADVERTISING (IF SMS.AC IS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE SUCH SERVICES).

Check the small print - make sure you tick the "don't spam my mobile" box :)
