I went out on the mongrel bike earlier... unsurprisingly, it was lethal.

At least that looks like it won't break if you drop it... Having ridden in the snow by mistake twice and stayed upright, I know when not to push my luck :D

Saw someone clearing an area round their bike this afternoon with the engine warming up getting ready to ride off ... Bonkers

Tobogganing in Richmond park was a busy affair.

Whoa !!

There was a couple of kids having a half assed attempt at sledging down a 4 foot drop in Bushy park , but that is like the winter Olympics !!

Shouldn't that read "I am logged on and IN WORK"?, same goes for PXW.:bannana:

Oi -picking up grammar and syntax errors is MY job:mad: :D

You need to link from a foto hosting site , like photobucket.

Guys,
We are quite envious out here. We have had 5 clear days since boxing day, it has been rain, rain and then more rain.

I used to dread the snow when I was in the UK. Traffic, trains not running, country to a standstill etc etc. But it looks lovely judging by all your pictures.

Last week I went ski-ing in northern Greece. It takes me one and a half hours on the hydrofoil to Volos and then a 45 minute drive to the mountains (Pelon). People think Greece is all islands and sun (with a couple of riots chucked in).

My mates flew to Thessolinnika on sleazy-jet for tuppence, hired a car and we had 4 days of ski-ing and lager. Good to catch up with them as it was the first time in 14 months since I have seen them.

Didn't take the Merc but hired a Toyota Aygo. The car behaved admirably but was a little short on room with a pair of ski's wedged inside.

If I'd had a camera with me this afternoon, I could have posted pics of the 6 seperate accidents I saw this afternoon, all at roundabouts or junctions where one car slid into the back of another.

Worst one, damage wise, was a black SLK, bonnet crumpled, head lights broken etc. That's gonna cost someone a pretty penny, one way or another.

It was not the grammar, it was the claim to be actually working while typing a post to this thread I corrected.

Facts come first, then grammar and syntax.:D

Fantastic pictures which I am viewing from Southern Brazil where my wife & I have come to visit our daughter and her boyfriend who left UK last November to work here for 18 months. We left Heathrow on Thursday last week and travelled via Paris- Sao Paulo - Florianapolis which is an island in the south of the country. Temperature here is 35C and looks to be getting hotter. We wonder what would have happened if we were trying to leave UK yesterday/today.......

Hope it melts away soon so we can get back home again!!

Someone told me when I was a lad that there was 2 trades that made money in these conditions.

1. Panel beaters (dented cars)
2. Plumbers (frozen pipes)

BTW, I don't think the bin men will be coming for my rubbish today.. ;)

Will

Mine are meant to be here on Tuesday, but have been told by my neighbour that it will be at least Thurday, or even Friday before we see them:mad:
