Got emailed these from my boss this morning. It's the view from his house across Chipstead Valley. Bit excessive to melt snow methinks!!

A couple from work yesterday ....

Helpfully the island had been closed to the public due to H&S concerns ( slips into deep cold water ) so had some pristine snow to photograph ...

The snow didn't stop Henry , our tame-ish heron from sitting watching us waiting for his cheese .... bet he had cold feet though ....
