We've bought an SUV, well it's a 4x4 which I think pretty much equates to the same thing haha

We're expecting Alex_225 number three in March so the other half's CLS350 won't be cutting it. We went on the hunt for an ML as it was the only car my other half liked and found a seller who specialises in them. The chap actually had 12 of them ranging in mileages and price. We opted for this 2011 ML350 CDI as the spec is ideal and it's in incredible condition, 84k on the clock but barely any wear and tear, even by my fussy standard.

The car is being serviced this week and hopefully we can pick up ASAP (considering the lockdown). The seller we bought from didn't offer part exchange but one place we asked offered £3,500 for a 2009 CLS350 with 80k which I think seemed somewhat short. So we'll be having the wheels refurbished and sell that on privately.

Something to look forward to at least!

It’s a testament to Mercs, if well liked after they don’t age like other cars. My Indy always says the difference between a 10 year Merc and Bmw is very clear.

Really good all round motor the ML - look out for the rear SAM getting damp and playing up though, really common fault.

Thank you for all the congratulations. We found out that the bun is actually a boy so as I have two girls already that's quite a nice change. Not that we minded either way as long as it's healthy.

As for the car, we have picked it up and I spent today giving it some TLC so will start a new thread on that shortly.
