I never did like the episodes where the Top Gear trio were smashing cars. If you like cars, you just don't do that. I find it cringeworthy. And yes I know that old cars get scrapped anyway... but still.

I would have bought that happily for £695 and restored it back to its former glory. Not that it was in particularly bad condition to begin with

The fact it still drove at the end really shows just how good those old Mercs are.
No clue about MOT history pal, maybe as it was (I assume) scrapped it gets deleted?

According to some sites the VED expired in 2006... so no wonder it has no digital MOT history.

Maybe back in the day when the car was crushed it wasnt the beloved Merc that it is today. Maybe it was just ‘a car’.
