I'm trying really hard to think of any car in history that looks best in white and I honestly can't think of one. Different strokes and all that 😊
Escort RS Turbo Mk3?

I'm no fan of white either (or Fords) but white really did suit these...

If you want that specific car (or any other) - Make sure that it has ALL the goodies of your desire. Not having the panorama roof you thaught would be nice. Or the high-end HiFi audio. Or the full leather/designo/AMG package, etc. If this one has it and you got money to burn then do not wait.

My first thought too. Second thought was Lotus Eaprit S1.

I find that the more angular the styling, the better white suits it.

Yes, but the MR2 still looked better in red, whereas the RS Turbo looked best in white.
I preferred dark blue, then light blue, then red, but it did look fantastic in white. The AW11 looked great in every colour.

Diversity ( not the dance act) is a great thing. By coincidence , two friends of mine , who have never met , took delivery of cars today . Both are the same age as myself (68) . One bought a 2009 Bentley Continental GT , ( £28k) , the other bought a new VW Polo (£22k) which will be his wifes first ever brand new car . Both were like dogs with an extra appendage during exchanges of emails/whats apps . In the last couple of days I have been the recipient of a "pre-delivery video"of the Polo ( the VW dealer is less than a mile from me) , and a similar walkabout video from the Bentley, which was delivered on a transporter this afternoon. I am absolutely over the moon for both of them because it`s always great to have a new/new to you car. I am looking forward to hopefully seeing the Bentley in the flesh tomorrow!

White was always a free colour for a reason......

Even the Police dont buy white cars these days, they are all silver or black based around my way, even the local cars!

Very similiar to my end of August 2020 purchase May 2019 E450 premium plus from a MB dealer with 100 miles on it at £43,000. Be careful of the main battery on an underused main car which I've had to get replaced in late September and was advised the battery would not have been covered by the MB 3 year warranty. Having moved from a silver/champange E400 I'm at odds with the rubellite red paintwork....it really does show every mark and changes from near black to dark crimson in sunlight..... wouldn't have the same colour in the future

Also check in the glovebox that the perfume bottle is present and nearly full as a replacement bottle is circa £70 woth delivery and had been "removed" from the car I purchased but subsequently replaced free of charge by MB

Com'on boys, no mention of the MkI Lotus Cortina!! Shock, horror, Jim Clark throwing the thing about... Okay it is a black and white picture but these iconic vehicles were modestly sold in white with that green mark :)
