:) I just keep on buying stuff everytime I go to the apple store in Regent St.

Bought the 1GB iPod Shuffle today, mainly to use as a USB memory dongle thing-o for work, with the added bonus of iPod functionality. £99 all in. Styling unit!

Also bought a Contour Shuttle Express for editing video. Have tried it in Pinnacle on the PC and it seems to work OK. Just need to try it on the Mac later tonight.

Been thinking about it, but cannot justify the expense. They really are a nice machine, but given that I am just using for general media rather than production, I'll stick to the mini!

Still waiting for apple to get some dvi->tv adapters in stock too.....

Wahey! (round of applause) What type?

Scott, I thought I read that you were getting your ipod shuffle from canada?

Was there a reason that you didn't in the end?? Just curious since I am looking at getin my Ipod in the states and was wondering if there was a problem with them.

Regards

Tan

Hi Tan,

Apparently supply is very limited in Canada right now. My boss went to quite a few stores and in the end was told by all of them that there was limited availability in shops until March 9th and was told to order from the web.

I wandered into the Apple store in Regent Street and bought it, as I am rather impatient and couldn't wait for another friend to go to the USA.

Unit is really good. Only thing I am suspiscious of is that even though I have told iTunes to use only a quarter of the device for file storage, it appears to automatically increase the allocation as you put more files on..... weird.

Knowing Scott - probably simple impatience :D :D He'll have been walking past the shop and would have been forcibly sucked in through the door and forced to part with his dosh :D :D Talk about a boy n his toys :D

Must admit - the shuffle is cute ;)

Pammy, you couldn't be more correct!! I will buy anything interesting that I see. :) Much to the dismay of my wife! I wonder what she's going to say this week, when this arrives:

Remember - I live in a 1 bed flat!

mmm - I can imagine - and "ooh that's nice darling" doesn't feature :D :D

"It's so you can have the sofa to yourself, to relax on!"
