I was just a kid who wanted a Spectrum 48k... was told repeatedly that I couldnt have one as they were too expensive and my parents had no money... Then a nice man called Arthur decided to kill the coal mining industry by calling loads of strikes and creating civil unrest...
This created lots of overtime for my dad! Which was a win-win... not only did he have lots of fun on his holidays to Orgreave to crack a few skulls - his overtime bought me a BBC Micro - which i then spent every waking minute learning how to use... hence a long and reasonably rewarding career in IT...
Thanks Mr Scargill
Trolling on a phenomenal scale.
Have you anything useful to contibute?
Nothing that you would find useful, no.
I don't know anything about you as a person or as an online 'character' but I'm convinced that you are only present on this forum to create problems for it's members.
Your last post which relates to the miner's strikes of the 1980's comes over as a deliberately antagonistic statement and one which would would be particularly offensive to some of our members. I suspect that that was your absolute intention.
It's up to you from here, you either adjust your intentions or continue to follow the path you have commenced upon - what will you choose?
All of the above is a deliberate attempt by you to derail a thread that a number of other people are contributing to in good faith. Please do not reply to the thread if the topic does not interest you. Are you implying that my post is ficticious?
Got sacked from that for sleeping behind a stack of said items and fell into a job at Canon.
Comfier than my C43.Were they comfy ?
