This is the second time ive done this!! -.-

After washing my car my passenger footwell is soaking wet! Ive had to remove the small front bit of carpet and dry it out - going to take ages.

Is the water getting in just above the bonnet?.... i remember last time this happened i was cleaning muck and leaves out of the wiper mechanism recess with a hose pipe.....

Have a look behind the module box and where the front wing meets the door under the bonnnet. The drains will be blocked.

Issue resolved :)

Jobs a gud-un!

So annoying happened to me this weekend. Has anyone made there drainage hole any bigger as a solution to this happenign often???

This was a very common problem on an A6 I owned a while ago. Plenum Chamber drains blocked. The way to fix it was to pop out the rubber "valves".

Im no engineer but such small drainage holes exposed to the elements seems to be asking for trouble.
