Assume if you will my Nokia 5800 is playing away happily via the 3.5mm socket / comand and its also linked via bluetooth to my MB car kit - what happens when a call comes in ?

I will know the answer to this after I get the lead later today but IMHO an interesting wonderment

I assume you mean music is playing? If it is an SAP Bluetooth kit you have then the music will continue to play as the SAP BT kit only connects to the mobile phone get authorisation from the SIM card, thereafter handling the calls via the car's phone system. If your car kit is not SAP then the sound will transfer to the car via Bluetooth as the car effectively becomes a headset for the phone.

If it is connected via an MB OEM car kit, BT or cradle, any other audio source should get muted during a call (except navi).

The phone probably goes on playing if connected to BT SAP adapter (does not pause I mean). Not sure what it does if connected via BT HF.

And??????????;)

OK. so it is via an MB HF puck, so the audio should play, the question is whether by BT or the 35mm jack? Do you have a BT headphone? Connect it up and connect the 35mm headphone via that socket and you will have your answer. As Diesel Bez said, the audio would be muted by the phone during a call anyway so the point is moot. :wallbash:

Didnt try today but lead is here now and will try on sunday, I have the blue flashing bluetooth jobby (SAP ?)

If aux is playing via cable it cuts to the phone if you get a call and resumes once you hang up (as expected)
