Renovo sell good products
Halfords sell an Autoglym kit
I use Grangers Gold Tent Fabric proofer because it’s cheaper long term

ah ok, thanks. I was thinking nikwax to be honest, but wasnt sure as it's a spray!

It is Fabsil Gold (I couldn’t remember) but it’s made by Grangers .

I always paint on with a brush as it saves me having to sheet the windows up .
I haven’t used Nikwax so can’t comment .

I’ve used Fabisil gold in the past and it is brilliant for beading/waterproofing.
It looks messy in the first few minutes of application but absorbs perfectly and can make the hood look like new.
Available at outdoor ‘adventure’ stores for waterproofing tents.

A top tip, the manufacturers advise using a 2" brush to apply, I find coverage awkward (particularly the 2nd coat) the new proofer beads and doesn't absorb evenly . Instead I apply with a small sponge and can really rub it in.
Seems to take better.

I’ve used Fabsil Gold in the past, Beads initially but then the roof goes back to normal shortly after. It still is 100% waterproof though so the initial needing is just a nice effect.
