Solar subsidies to be cut by more than half

I have got my 4Kw system booked in for installation on the 10th Nov! hope it goes well and can get registered in time....

It took nearly 6weeks for my energy supplier (Souther Electric) to register my FiT agreement, and it took 4 weeks for my installer to provide the instalation certificate (total 10wks). Hopefully yours will be a bit quicker!

fingers crossed, just spoke to EDF (my supplier) and they have confirmed the day they receive the FIT form it will be registered but it can take 6 weeks to get logged onto the system but it will be back dated.

Did you need your instalation certificate before you could apply for the FIT?

Yes, I had to send a copy of the cert, along with proof of ownership.
