Designo Platinum black ....

Like obsidian, so it can be sparkly, but also has a copper tinge. Love it.

I assume solid black won't be just plain black paint these days. Won't have a clear top coat just like metallics do ?

Yeah a lot of colours have no metallic in them these days just straight black, white, red, blue ect but every paint has a clear coat from the factory it don't affect the colour, just in simple terms makes it shiny unless you order a Matt colour obviously then the clear coat will be Matt laquer instead.

Both look nice but the Obsidian just adds to the look.
