Happens to me less now, but I have been through this too many times. Hopefully you are with a proper bank that will just "take care of it" rather than leave it on your card for 120 days while the "look into it".

I hope so , its a charge card that just happens to be a visa one too. Gets cleared at the end of the month.

Anyone been through with with RBS Corporate cards before?

i know some people who work for rbs who had this...resolved v. quickly but not sure how much a difference working there makes.

No, happened to me twice on my Corporate AmEx.... Got a temporary refund whilst they get further details from the merchant (which took 6 weeks) and then faxed me a copy. Eventually they accepted that I probably wouldn't be buying sex aids (oh, how our finance manager laughed!) on a company card and gave a full refund.

Not nice, but better that it was on a company card than mine!!
