The delivery driver had been on the road since 5.30am , hit me about 3.30pm , it was a hot day and it was Ramadam so he wasn't that wide awake. Wife and I were very lucky , no injuries whatsoever , the active headrests in the E coupe worked a treat. I think the alternator on the Renault snapped the crossmember , on it's way through his radiator. Not one of my happiest days , the car had circa 300 miles on the clock.

Car over in a Broxbourne body shop and awaiting a call to see if the car is going to be repaired or written off,,,,
Away till Thursday and will book my hire car when back home,,,

Just to update members ,,,,
heard from body shop that the car is a write off ,,lots of damage underneath etc,,,,
gutted as car was mint and only just under 93k miles,,,,,,

Sorry to hear the bad news , the expensive damage on mine was behind the bumper .

That's a shame but it becomes a safety issue if there is that much damage.
