OP - this is generally a really friendly forum eg on page 1 my instincts were to "repair" that for you as you are Manchester based HOWEVER as the replies have evolved (and some from trusted and helpful members - not all!), I will keep out of it suffice to say .............a local bodyshop should be able to sort that out in an afternoon for £100cash, as no paint required.

I think you’ve completely missed the point here. It was in fact the other person that jumped in and started accusing me of being desperate for some cash in order to go have it fixed? Initially I said that I wasn’t going to go ahead with it anyway and this was only a single post so unsure as to why I’m made to be the bad guy here. Ps I will repair this myself but thanks for your input.

So the chap put it off last week due to the rain and has attended yesterday as was dry. Very happy with the result all for half the price of chips away and 3 hours labour whilst I was at work. No need for the car to be taken away for 2 days.
